KATSEYE: Sophia to Resume Activities in January 2027

HYBE x Geffen has announced that Sophia will resume activities with KATSEYE in the first week of January 2027. The statement sets a timeframe for her return, but does not give an exact date or outline her schedule for the start of the year.

In the same announcement, the agency confirmed that the singer will not take part in the North American leg of “THE WILDWORLD TOUR.” She will also sit out promotional activities for the remainder of 2026. Her planned return in January therefore does not include these year-end commitments.

Sophia began her hiatus in August 2026 to prioritize her mental health and well-being. She did not join the European leg of “THE WILDWORLD TOUR,” and her absence will now extend through the tour’s North American leg.

The announcement of her return to KATSEYE activities comes after several months on hiatus. The statement does not, however, specify what her first public appearance with the group in 2027 will be.
